Continuing work in Newark, New Jersey, Air Tech Innovations designed, manufactured and supplied a large cargo handling system. The warehouse floor surface has sunk over the years and continues to do so, Air Tech’s solution involves a complex steel structure supporting castor deck which is installed on top of hydraulic rams. The hydraulic rams can be extended as required to ensure the castor deck surface remains level.
Three 20-foot truck dock scissor lifts transfer cargo from truck trailers onto powered roller beds which transport cargo to outfeeds inside the customer’s warehouse and onto a series of dolly docks. Four-direction powered roller beds provide perpendicular transfer and castor deck enables dynamic storage of air cargo pallets.
